Let your little ones learn more about food with this Italian themed food set.
This set is carefully handmade to ensure quality and safety for your little ones playtimes. Encourage and enhance their imaginative play with this food set as well as stimulating textures and colours for sensory development.
This set includes;
- Selection of pasta; tagliatelle, farfalle, ravioli and tortellini
- Selection of sauces; cheese, cream and tomato
- Selection of toppings; tomatoes, red onions, green peppers, mushrooms, olives, basil, ham, pepperoni, meatballs and (at the risk of causing controvacy) pineapple.
- Small cardboard trays for the toppings
- 4 cardboard tubs with spoons for the pasta dishes
I was a qualified teacher not so long ago and have never quite left that part of my life behind. If you order this set and let me know the age of your child I will also include a digital copy of some age appropriate printable resources to go with it for free as well as a list of skills that your child is developing with this set and some learning opportunities you can use with this set to encourage learning but in a fun way through play.
This set includes small parts which could be a choking hazard. As this set is a 'food' playset the temptation to put the playfoods into mouths could be greater than usual. Always supervise your child whilst playing with this set or any other playfoods.
Materials:
The pizza base, pasta and toppings are made from felt with cotton sewn details. The pizza crust and some of the toppings are filled with soft toy grade stuffing. Where possible small parts are both glued and sewn on for added safety.
The containers and implements all made from natural materials and are plastic free. The tongues are metal and are recyclable.
Additional Information:
Because of the felt material I would advise against washing them. Wipe with a damp cloth if needed. If you did choose to hand wash, reshape whilst wet and leave to dry out of reach of small hands.
